Musk sits in a unique place in perfumery. It is neither overwhelmingly sweet nor sharply aromatic — instead, it occupies a space that feels like natural, warm skin. A well-chosen musk attar is the fragrance equivalent of a clean white shirt: simple, always right, and never too much.
White Musk
The most popular everyday musk. Clean, slightly powdery, reminiscent of fresh laundry. Works for all genders and ages. Pairs beautifully with a light floral note (rose, mogra).
Musk Al Tahara
A classic in Islamic fragrance culture, this clean, crisp musk is traditionally worn after ritual purification. Very light and transparent — barely there on the skin, which is part of its appeal.
Dark Musk / Musk Noir
Deeper and slightly resinous. More suitable for evenings or cooler days. Often blended with amber or oud to give it staying power.

How to Apply Musk Attar for All-Day Wear
Because musk is a skin-close fragrance, apply it generously to pulse points: wrists, neck, and behind the ears. A light application of unscented moisturiser beforehand helps the oil hold longer.
